DeFi development
When a product moves funds, the details matter. We work through the contract rules, integrations and screens together so your team can understand how the system behaves.
Follow the funds first.
A DeFi specification starts with more than a feature list. We map how funds enter, move through and leave the product. We identify which contracts, permissions and external services each step depends on.
This gives the team a shared way to discuss deposits, withdrawals, accounting and exceptional situations before implementation. It also helps define what the interface needs to explain to someone using the product.
Entry
Define supported assets, approval steps and the conditions for accepting a transaction.
State
Make balances, permissions and the source of displayed information explicit.
Exit
Work through withdrawal conditions, unavailable actions and what the user sees when a request fails.
Connect the contracts to the product.
Our DeFi development work brings smart contract implementation and dApp development into the same conversation. The scope can cover a new product flow, an integration or an application around existing contracts.
We review dependencies as part of planning. An integration can introduce assumptions about data, permissions or another protocol’s behaviour. Those assumptions need to be documented and reflected in tests.
- Product specifications and fund-flow diagrams
- Smart contract implementation and testing
- Integration with the agreed contracts and services
- Interfaces for balances, approvals and transaction status
- Deployment documentation and audit preparation
Test the rules that matter.
We define the properties the system should preserve and the cases that could break them. Depending on the product, that may include accounting consistency, restricted actions, boundary values and failed integrations.
We plan independent review as a separate step where the project needs it. Preparing for an audit means making the scope understandable and leaving time for findings. Neither development tests nor an audit remove all software risk.
Make the first conversation concrete.
Bring the main user action, the assets involved and any existing contracts or diagrams. If you have not chosen a chain or integration yet, explain the constraints that matter to you.
We can then discuss which decisions need more investigation, what belongs in the first release and how to divide the work. A useful estimate follows that scope instead of assuming every DeFi product needs the same implementation.
A few common questions.
Do you work on existing DeFi products?
Yes. We can discuss a defined feature, interface or integration. The first step is understanding the current contracts, dependencies and operational constraints.
Can you build both contracts and the interface?
Yes. We handle smart contract development and the application around it, including wallet interactions and transaction status.
How do you estimate a DeFi project?
We first map the fund flows, integrations, interface scope and review requirements. These determine the work and the dependencies that can affect a launch date.
