Ace21

Blackjack you can play from your wallet, with results you can check for yourself.

Project identity from the TanukiLabs portfolio.

One game, a focused experience.

Ace21 centres on blackjack against the house. A wallet is the starting point for play, and the product gives people a way to check results.

Our work on Ace21 focused on smart contracts and verifiable randomness. It is one example of how we connect game rules with transactions people can check.

Rules people can follow.

A familiar card game still needs precise rules when its actions become transactions. The game state, available actions and result need to be understandable through the interface as well as represented in the underlying logic.

Ace21 represents a single-game format in our portfolio. Its scope is different from Pepino’s broader casino experience, while both connect game interactions with crypto transactions.

The product

Wallet-based blackjack with results people can verify.

Our work

Smart contracts, including the game’s use of verifiable randomness.

Start your game with the rules.

For a new game, we begin with the player actions and the conditions that determine each outcome. We then discuss what needs to be verifiable, which transactions are involved and how the interface explains their status.

Bring a description of the game, the intended wallet experience and any existing code. We can use those to define a focused first version and identify the parts that need investigation or independent review.
